The new technique has adopted a continuous,open-slack stacking method and a new type of environment-friendly chemical auxiliary. It combines the advantages of the traditional, alkaline-burning scouring technique and the cold heap pre-process, and is a major improvement toboth, as outlined below.
1. The new technique is much more environment-friendly, having a Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) that is only20%-25% of that of the traditional alkaline scouring process, can make sewage management less difficult and has substantially less negative environmentalimpact
2. Continuous, non-stop production, streamlined process and product uniformity, all of which can be achieved withthe new technique in place and are problems yet to be solved with traditional methods of production.
3. With the employment of the newcold-batch technique, the consumption of chemical auxiliaries would be 50% less than had the traditional cold heap pre-process been in place. Water, through the new technique, would also be directly reclaimed, saving up to 40% of water usage during production, therefore substantially decreases both cost andemission during production.
4. The linen produced as a result would be more lustrous, with the yarn having a more rounded and fluffy feel and the fabrics a more plush texture.
5. Every intrinsic physical index of the new technique is better than that of the traditional scouring procedure.
